Tioman

Tioman Island, a small gem off the coast of Malaysia, is famous for its stunning coral reefs. Getting there from Singapore takes more than six hours by bus and boat, but the journey is well worth it.

The island is breathtaking—crystal-clear waters, lush forests, and countless spots for snorkeling and diving. Sadly, none of us are divers, but we made the most of it by snorkeling in many places around the island.

Never in my life had I been so close to schools of fish gliding past me in such pristine waters. Never before had I seen so many vibrant, living coral reefs.

It was truly a fantastic and unforgettable experience.
